Business Sites for Art
ARTS,
Spring/Summer 1998. (Kauai, Hawaii)
Rare & Dear, Inc., a Hawaii based software consulting company, renovated its office in the former McBryde
Sugar Plantation Building. Rather than investing in a permanent art collection, Ned Dana, president and
principal consultant, invites local artists to display art work in their office on a rotating basis.
Changing exhibits will provide inspiration for employees to keep the technological creativity flowing and
will provide the artist community with exposure to the company's clients, vendors and employees.
